App teaches walking aid skills in small study

Summary
This study tested a video-based app designed to teach people how to properly use walking aids like walkers, crutches, or canes. Fifteen participants either used the walking aid app or a sham app teaching general health skills. Researchers measured balance confidence and skill confidence to see if the app helped.
