Can a simple vibration boost knee recovery for athletes?
NCT ID NCT07424066
Summary
This study is testing whether gentle vibration applied to the back of the thigh (hamstring tendons) can improve muscle control and movement in athletes who have injured their ACL knee ligament. Researchers will measure how 35 participants' knees move and their muscle activity with and without the vibration during specific exercises. The goal is to gather information on whether this non-invasive stimulation could be a helpful tool for rehabilitation.
