Vibrating needles may ease back pain without extra risk

NCT ID NCT06527339

First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study looks at whether adding a gentle vibration to dry needling can reduce pain and improve movement in people with long-term low back pain. About 36 adults with pain lasting over 3 months will receive either dry needling alone or dry needling with vibration. The goal is to see if the vibration makes treatment less painful and more effective, without the risks of electrical stimulation.
