First seen Feb 03, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tests if using vibration devices during dental numbing shots can reduce pain and discomfort in children aged 6 to 12. Twenty healthy, cooperative kids with no prior dental experience will receive numbing injections on both sides of their upper jaw, with a vibration device used on one side and not the other. Researchers will measure heart rate, pain scores, and behavior to see if the vibration helps.
