Can a simple watch buzz keep hospital patients strong?
NCT ID NCT07492745
Summary
This study is testing if a simple vibrating watch can help older, frail patients stay active during a hospital stay. The watch buzzes six times a day to remind patients to walk or do simple exercises. Researchers want to see if this low-cost reminder helps patients maintain their strength and independence so they can recover better after going home.
