Scientists track Veterans' sleep at home to unlock secrets of trauma nightmares
NCT ID NCT03974503
Summary
This VA study aimed to better understand the sleep patterns of veterans experiencing trauma-related nightmares. Researchers monitored 48 veterans' sleep at home using a special mattress topper that tracks movement without wires or sensors. They compared sleep data before and during two different talk therapies for nightmares to see how treatment affects sleep physiology.
