Summary
This study looked at a Vermont program that helps people who have an injury or illness stay at work or return to work. About 800 adults who lived or worked in Vermont and had a recent health issue took part. The program offered medical provider services and coordination to support staying at or returning to work. Researchers measured employment rates and earnings after one year, as well as whether people applied for disability benefits.
