New pill shows promise for tough cancers in early trial

Summary
This study tests an experimental pill called veonetinib (AL8326) in people with advanced small cell lung cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, or kidney cancer that has come back or spread. The goal is to find the best dose and see if it shrinks tumors. About 80 adults will take part, and the drug is taken by mouth daily.
