First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study looks at whether adding venetoclax to standard treatment (ATRA and arsenic trioxide) can help people with a rare blood cancer called acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL) who have very high white blood cell counts. About 28 newly diagnosed patients will receive the combination to see if it reduces early deaths and improves outcomes. The goal is to make current treatments work better for this high-risk group.
