New hope for Tough-to-Treat amyloidosis: 3-Drug cocktail under study

Summary
This early-stage trial tests a combination of three drugs (venetoclax, ixazomib, and dexamethasone) in 24 people with a rare blood disease called light chain amyloidosis that has returned or not responded to prior treatment. The goal is to find the safest dose and check for side effects. Participants must have a specific genetic change (t(11;14)).
