First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looked at combining two drugs, venetoclax and azacitidine, to treat people with a serious type of bone marrow cancer called high-risk myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS). The goal was to find the safest dose and see if the combination could shrink or control the cancer. The trial included both new patients and those whose cancer had returned or stopped responding to treatment, but it was ended early.
