First seen Mar 05, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tested a combination of two targeted drugs, venetoclax and ibrutinib, in 234 people with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) or small lymphocytic lymphoma. The goal was to see how well the drugs control the cancer, especially in patients whose disease came back or had high-risk features. Participants took both pills daily, and researchers tracked tumor shrinkage and side effects like low blood counts or infections.
