Can smart speed tracking beat Old-School weightlifting for athletic performance?
NCT ID NCT07249203
Summary
This study compared two different approaches to strength training for college athletes. Researchers tested whether training that adjusts weights based on movement speed (velocity-based) works better than traditional fixed-percentage training. Twenty male athletes completed an 8-week program, with measurements taken before and after to see which method improved jumping, sprinting, agility, and strength more effectively.
