Summary
This early-phase study tested two drugs, bortezomib and lenalidomide, in 22 adults whose acute myeloid leukemia (AML) or myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) came back after a stem cell transplant. The main goal was to find the safest dose and see if the combination could reduce cancer cells. The study was completed but did not aim to cure the disease; instead, it focused on controlling it.
