NCT ID NCT02894073
First seen Jun 13, 2026 · Last updated Jun 21, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tested a device called VeinViewer that shines a light through the skin to make veins easier to see. The goal was to help place IV catheters in obese patients, who often have hard-to-find veins. Only 2 people took part before the study was stopped early, so we cannot draw strong conclusions.
