NCT ID NCT05192863
First seen Nov 15, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study looked at whether the drug vedolizumab can help adults with moderate to severe Crohn's disease achieve complete remission—meaning fewer symptoms and less bowel inflammation—after 12 months of treatment. Researchers followed 72 participants in Canada, Italy, and Israel who started vedolizumab as part of their regular care. The goal was to see if the drug could reduce both symptoms and signs of inflammation measured by ultrasound and lab tests.
