First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This early study tests a new device called VCFix for treating a broken bone in the spine (vertebral compression fracture). The goal is to see if the device is safe and works as intended in 10 people. Researchers will check how well the device is placed and how well it fixes the fracture, and will watch for any serious side effects for 2 years. This is a small first step to gather information for a larger study.
