Summary
This study tested an experimental vaccine called VBI-2901a in 103 healthy adults aged 18-64 who had already received at least two doses of a licensed COVID-19 vaccine. The vaccine uses virus-like particles to target three coronaviruses: SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19), SARS-CoV-1, and MERS-CoV. The goal was to check safety and see if it could boost the immune system's ability to fight these viruses and their variants.
