First seen Apr 16, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tests if a non-invasive light treatment called vascular photobiomodulation can improve blood pressure and blood vessel health in people with hypertension who are already taking the medication losartan. Eighty adults aged 18-65 will receive either the active light treatment or a sham (fake) treatment over 4 weeks. The goal is to see if this light therapy can offer additional blood pressure control beyond standard medication.
