First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study compares two methods to close the vein after a leadless pacemaker is implanted: a special stitch (suture-mediated closure) versus manual pressure with a figure-of-eight stitch. About 50 adults will be randomly assigned to one method. The goal is to see which approach stops bleeding faster and gets patients ready to go home sooner.
