Summary
This study tested whether a quick, cooling spray can reduce pain during routine finger-prick blood sugar tests in emergency rooms. 80 adults each received both the spray and a placebo before separate tests, then rated their pain. The goal is to find a simple, low-cost way to make this common procedure more comfortable.
