First seen May 15, 2026 · Last updated Jun 22, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study aims to find out if vaping causes early damage to blood vessels, particularly in the lungs. Researchers will measure blood flow and vessel function in 90 adults aged 18-40, comparing current vapers to healthy non-vapers. The goal is to detect problems before they become serious, helping to understand the true health risks of vaping.

What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage observational study (90 people) that only measures changes, not treatments. Results may not apply to all vapers or predict long-term harm.
