Gum disease detection: a simple questionnaire vs. dental exam

Summary
This study aims to see if a self-reported questionnaire can accurately identify gum disease (periodontitis or gingivitis) in adults in Saudi Arabia. About 291 participants will fill out the questionnaire and then receive a standard dental exam on the same visit. The results will help determine if the questionnaire is a reliable, low-cost tool for screening gum disease.
