New study offers hope for persistent movement disorder

Summary
This study tests whether valbenazine can help people with tardive dyskinesia (uncontrollable movements) who still have symptoms while taking or after stopping another drug. About 50 adults with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or major depression will take valbenazine for 24 weeks. The goal is to see if it reduces movement severity and improves quality of life.
