Summary
This study looks at whether keeping the vagus nerve intact during gastric bypass surgery changes gastrin levels and lowers the chance of developing a stomach ulcer. Researchers will measure gastrin before and after surgery in 50 adults having routine gastric bypass. The goal is to understand how nerve preservation affects ulcer formation.
