Summary
This study tested two forms of progesterone—vaginal gel and intramuscular shots—to see which is better at preventing another preterm birth in women who have had one before. The trial included 210 pregnant women with a single baby and a history of spontaneous preterm birth. Researchers compared how many women delivered before 37 weeks in each group.
