Summary

This study tested two common drugs—vaginal progesterone and oral nifedipine—to see which works better at delaying preterm labor in 160 pregnant women aged 18-35 with a single baby. The goal was to prevent delivery within 48 hours or before 37 weeks. Results could help doctors choose the best treatment to reduce early births.
