New hope for stomach cancer: combo therapy enters late-stage trial

Summary
This study tests a new drug, utidelone capsule, combined with standard chemotherapy for people with advanced stomach or gastroesophageal junction cancer that has not been treated before. About 778 adults will take part to see if the combination helps them live longer and shrinks tumors. The goal is to find a more effective first treatment for this serious disease.
