First seen Jan 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study explores transplanting a uterus into women who cannot get pregnant because they were born without a womb or had it removed. Ten women under 40 with a healthy donor will receive the transplant. The goal is to see if the procedure is feasible and can restore fertility, though lifelong anti-rejection medication is needed.
