Does your uterus affect your back pain? new study investigates

NCT ID NCT07549009

First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study looked at 128 women with chronic low back pain to see if the position of the uterus (tilted forward or backward) is linked to how much pain they feel and how their body processes pain. Researchers measured pain sensitivity and used questionnaires to assess pain severity and thinking patterns. No treatments were given; the goal was simply to better understand the relationship between uterine position and back pain.
