First seen Nov 05, 2025 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study aims to learn more about the cells and molecules found in a gentle wash of the uterus (uterine lavage) collected from 50 women during gynecologic surgery. Researchers will analyze the samples to see what types of cells are present and look for genetic or protein markers that might be linked to uterine health or disease. The goal is to better understand the uterus and potentially improve future detection of gynecologic conditions.
