New study peers into uterine wash for clues to gynecologic disease

Summary

This study is testing a new method to collect and analyze cells and molecules from the uterus using a gentle wash during gynecologic surgery. Researchers will enroll 50 women to see what types of cells and genetic material can be found in the fluid. The goal is to learn more about uterine health and potentially improve detection of gynecologic diseases.
