Summary
This study tested the drug ustekinumab in 8 adults with a rare and severe form of intestinal Behçet's syndrome that also involves a blood disorder called myelodysplastic syndrome. The goal was to see if the drug could improve gut symptoms and control disease activity over 24 weeks. Ustekinumab works by blocking certain immune signals and has helped in similar conditions.
