Pee power: new study seeks chlamydia clues in urine

NCT ID NCT07596316

First seen May 21, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026

Summary

This study aims to find immune markers in urine and vaginal samples from women with chlamydia. About 73 adult women who test positive for chlamydia will provide urine, vaginal, and blood samples. Researchers will compare immune responses in these samples to see if urine can be used instead of blood for future testing. This is an observational study, not a treatment.
