First seen Dec 18, 2025 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looked at whether the Upper Extremity Functional Index (a 20-question survey about daily hand tasks) is a reliable and valid way to measure hand function in people with carpal tunnel syndrome. Researchers gave the survey to 101 patients and compared it with two other well-known hand questionnaires. The goal was to see if this tool can be trusted for future use in clinics or research.
