New study confirms Upadacitinib's safety for inflammatory bowel disease

Summary

This study looked at how safe and effective the drug upadacitinib (RINVOQ) is for Korean adults with moderate to severe ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease. About 600 participants took the drug as prescribed by their doctor and were followed for up to 52 weeks. The main goal was to track any serious side effects and see how well the drug controlled disease activity.
