New hope for Tough-to-Treat eosinophilic esophagitis?

Summary

This study tests whether the drug upadacitinib can help adults with eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) who still have symptoms despite using standard steroid treatments. Participants will take upadacitinib or a placebo daily for 12 weeks, then all receive upadacitinib for another 12 weeks. The main goal is to see if the drug reduces inflammation in the esophagus.
