Dental glue showdown: which universal adhesive best repairs non-cavity tooth damage?

NCT ID NCT03415412

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study tests three different universal adhesives (dental glues) used with a flowable composite resin to repair non-carious cervical lesions—tooth damage near the gum line not caused by cavities. 18 adults with at least three such lesions will receive restorations, and their performance will be checked over 48 months. The goal is to see which adhesive holds up best.
