Summary

This study looks at why some people develop sudden kidney injury after heart surgery. Researchers will collect blood and urine samples from 200 adults scheduled for heart surgery to measure certain biological markers. The goal is to better understand how kidney injury develops, which could lead to future treatments. Participants receive no experimental treatment and follow their normal care.
