Brain scans reveal how stroke survivors process senses during mental rehearsal

NCT ID NCT06931509

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 37 times

Summary

This study looks at how stroke patients with weakness on one side use visual and touch feedback when imagining movements. Researchers will record brain activity with EEG while patients perform mental tasks. The goal is to understand how different parts of the brain handle these signals, which could lead to better rehabilitation methods. About 38 adults who have had a stroke will take part.
