Summary
This study looks at babies who develop type 1 diabetes before age 2, a very rare and extreme form of the disease. Researchers want to understand why their immune system attacks insulin-making cells so early. They will study blood samples and immune cells from these children and compare them to others with diabetes and healthy infants. The goal is to learn more about what causes type 1 diabetes and find new ways to delay or prevent it.
