Summary
This study looked at how the brain creates the feeling of being in control of our own actions. Researchers compared healthy volunteers with people who have schizophrenia or bipolar disorder, especially those who feel their actions are controlled by an outside force. The goal was to understand the mental processes behind this symptom, not to test a new treatment.
