First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated Jun 19, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study surveys healthcare workers in the Hampshire and Isle of Wight region to understand how they care for older adults (65+) who take blood thinners and have fallen, possibly hitting their head. The goal is to map current services, identify challenges, and find ways to reduce unnecessary hospital visits while improving falls assessments and medication reviews. About 1,000 healthcare professionals will participate.
