First seen Apr 06, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looks at why people with chronic low back pain and disc injuries have trouble recovering their back muscles, even with exercise or surgery. Researchers will measure nerve signals, muscle activity, and tissue changes in 152 participants to find what limits recovery. The goal is to create better, personalized rehabilitation plans for each patient.
