Brain scans seek clues to anorexia relapse

NCT ID NCT04560517

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study looks at why some women with anorexia nervosa get better after treatment but then relapse. Researchers will use brain scans, thinking tests, and blood samples to find clues. The goal is to understand the disease better, not to test a new treatment. About 275 women with anorexia and healthy volunteers will take part.
