This study looked at why experienced anesthesiologists make certain decisions about reversing muscle relaxants at the end of surgery, even when those decisions go against best evidence. Researchers used written scenarios and interviews with 154 anesthesia providers to understand their thinking. The goal was to improve how doctors make decisions in the operating room.
