Could your weight be hiding your carpal tunnel diagnosis?
NCT ID NCT07508397
Summary
This study aims to improve the accuracy of ultrasound for diagnosing carpal tunnel syndrome. Researchers will check if a person's body weight affects the ultrasound measurements of the wrist nerve, potentially making diagnosis less reliable. They will compare ultrasound results with standard nerve tests in 120 patients to see if weight adjustments could lead to better diagnoses.
