Seeing the pain: ultrasound tested for better fracture numbing

Summary
This study tests whether using an ultrasound machine to guide a pain-numbing injection works better than the traditional 'blind' method for treating broken wrists. Researchers will compare pain levels in 115 adults with wrist fractures who receive one of the two injection techniques in the emergency room. The goal is to see if the visual guidance from ultrasound helps place the numbing medicine more accurately, leading to less pain during the bone-setting procedure.
