Summary
This study is testing a new way to teach medical residents how to perform a common but tricky procedure called radial artery catheterization, which is used for monitoring patients during surgery or in intensive care. Researchers will compare a new training method that uses ultrasound guidance and spaced-out practice sessions to traditional teaching. The goal is to see if this new approach helps residents learn the skill better, succeed on their first try more often, and cause fewer complications for patients.
