Summary
This early-phase trial studies whether metoclopramide, alone or with dexamethasone, can help empty the stomach faster in trauma patients needing emergency surgery. The goal is to reduce the risk of vomiting and inhaling stomach contents into the lungs. Only one patient will be enrolled, and ultrasound will measure stomach contents before and after treatment.
