Neck maneuver eases stubborn tennis elbow in new trial

NCT ID NCT07187102

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tested whether adding a gentle neck and upper back movement (called SNAG) to standard care could improve pain, arm function, and grip strength in 60 adults with chronic medial epicondylitis (tennis elbow). Participants were aged 35-50 and had symptoms for over 3 months. The researchers also used ultrasound to check for changes in tendon health. The goal was to see if this simple, non-invasive approach offers extra relief beyond usual treatment.
